Aaron Alden’s second album Blackfeather was primarily composed in 2019. Durring the political insanity and the global pandemic of 2020 the album evolved through several reinventions and grew many shades darker, becoming appropriately “infected” with noise and tape hiss.

The evolution of this album reflects the struggle to make light in dark times while wandering through constantly shifting and unfamiliar landscapes.
